Nutritionist
My main goal of cooperation is the sustainable improvement of the patient's quality of life. I apply an individualized approach using the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy and conscious eating. As a specialist, I support the ideology of "weight inclusive" and Health at Every Size®, focusing on the well-being of the client, not changing the body. The methodology I use is designed so that the acquired knowledge and skills are relevant and useful for the rest of a person's life.
I am most often approached to address complaints such as: overeating, emotional and stress eating, overwhelming appetites, body dissatisfaction, poor nutrition and eating disorders. The focus of cooperation is to stabilize a regular and nutritious diet on a daily basis, to promote understanding of the causes and consequences of eating problems, to teach how to deal with irritants in life that disrupt the maintenance of nutritious habits.
In practice, it never ceases to amaze me how many areas of life improve when patients learn the skills to properly care for their body's needs for food! Patients note a better relationship with their body and eating after just a few individual lessons. They feel more energetic, with less tension and guilt. The ability to concentrate improves, the quality of sleep improves, and the feeling of satiety is more pronounced. Episodes of overeating are significantly reduced or completely disappear. Patients also note greater joy in preparing and choosing meals on a daily basis.
The knowledge skills you will gain will give you confidence in the choices you make every day, because there is no one right way to be healthy! Everyone will have their own recipe. I offer to find this special recipe together and integrate it so that food is an element that complements life - pleasure, health and freedom!
