Clinical and health psychologist, Level 2 EMDR trained
There is no growth without hardship – it is an essential part of a full life. Dealing with difficulties involves the courage to spot them, name them, address them and seek further help if necessary. People's lives vary widely – each person has their genetic base, temperament, experience, knowledge and skills, surrounding physical and social environment, along with cultural and temporal context. Each person's path in life is unique, and it is neither good nor bad, correct nor wrong – it simply is. Someone has to stop in the middle of their path, another – to take a first step, and another – to make a sharp turn or take a new track to enhance growth. Maybe our roads will cross, or we'll go together for a while.
I work from a psychological perspective, e.g., I carry out psycho-education about different mental health difficulties. Moreover, I work with motivation, needs, resources, emotions, beliefs, values, etc. When necessary, I provide crisis intervention, self-harm and addiction prevention, etc. I use a variety of methods and approaches obtained through studies, additional psychology courses and experience working with clients. I choose and combine methods carefully, focusing on clients' needs and difficulties.
