Psychotherapist, Level 2 EMDR trained
I provide individual consultations for teenagers, young people and adults. I work with a wide range of issues, such as psychosomatic and stress disorders, family, relationships and sexuality.
During my medical studies, when I started working at the Latvian Oncology Center, as well as working as a volunteer and providing psychological support in crisis situations, in practice I became convinced of the crucial importance of a person's mental, not only physical and social well-being. I believe that psychotherapy can improve the quality of life in all these areas.
During my studies and now I am actively involved in research on topics such as burnout syndrome and barriers to seeking psychological and psychiatric help. I use a psychodynamic approach and support psychotherapy.
