Neurologist
Neurologist with a deep interest in algology - pain medicine. Neurology is a broad branch of medicine with many branches. My interest is specifically in the field of headache. Almost all of us have experienced headaches in our lifetime, but for some they leave a significant imprint on daily life, with marked limitations in work and social life. In many cases they are underestimated and, with careful assessment of each patient, can be very well treated.
I carry out a neurological examination, differential diagnosis, development of a treatment plan and follow-up of the patient. My approach is multimodal, involving other specialists in the patient's treatment towards the most effective therapeutic goal.
I am interested in the latest diagnostic and treatment options, attending meetings of the Latvian Society of Neurology, the Latvian Pain Research Society, as well as international conferences in the field of headache and pain.
