I believe that every patient needs time, trust and the opportunity to deal with complex problems; especially on the first visit to a specialist, a longer conversation is usually needed to understand the medical history, analyse what has been done and what can be done, and find solutions - and these need to be found together. 

I trust in evidence-based, modern medicine, choosing what is right for each patient. I also always need to be reminded that health problems need to be treated not only with medicines, but also by changing everyday habits in order to successfully achieve the desired results.
