Kristiana Kalnina

M.Psych. clinical and health psychologist

The most valuable thing a human being can give to another human being is encouragement, faith in each other's strengths and humanity. Sometimes that's all it takes to make a healthy change - everything else is in everyone.

I work with patients on a long-term basis, using and focusing more on the Lacanian-oriented psychoanalytic approach.

I help patients resolve difficulties in relationships, past traumatic experiences, issues around sexuality, a healthy sense of body and self-image, patients with gender dysphoria and LGBTQ clients, and work to resolve current daily difficulties such as anxiety, depression, burnout, eating disorders, emotion regulation and attention difficulties.

I work with parents of children with behavioral and emotion regulation difficulties, as well as child, adolescent and young adult sexual behavior.
